MrBeast has reached an astonishing 266 million subscribers, surpassing the Indian music label T-Series to become the most subscribed YouTube channel. On June 2, 26-year-old James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson, known as MrBeast, celebrated the milestone on social media.

MrBeast posted on X: “After 6 years we have finally avenged PewDiePie,” referring to achieving what Swedish creator PewDiePie could not: overtaking T-Series as YouTube’s most-subscribed channel.

He expressed concern that his accomplishment could reignite a debate pitting India against America. “I just want to be the most subscribed-to channel. Yes, I have a lot of people helping me, but at the end of the day, I started this channel. I live and breathe this. I am a creator,” he said.
