Scholarships for ST Students to Pursue Higher Education Abroad

SRINAGAR: The Ministry of Tribal Affairs is inviting applications from ST students of India in collaboration with Indian embassies or missions abroad for the National Overseas Scholarship Programme.

This programme aims to support Indian citizens from the Scheduled Tribe category who are willing to pursue a Masters, PhD, or postdoctoral research at recognised institutions.The deadline to apply online is May 31, 2024.

Candidates’ annual family income should be less than Rs 6 Lakhs to be eligible for the programme.Applicants should meet age and academic requirements at the time of applying.

Selected candidates can receive up to $15,400 annually. Additional benefits may also be provided.For more details and to apply,
